Can MultiWeapon Fighting be used with thrown weapons?

I'm thinking about a 4-armed knife-thrower, for example.

I'm blanking on this, but as I remember, the approach is that 2-Weapon Fighting can't be used with thrown weapons because of the little blurb in the PHB under the Heavy Crossbow entry.
(has that ever been confirmed, BTW? Is that the only source for that?)

But what about multi-armed opponents?
In the MM, it says MultiDexterity and MuitliWeapon Fighting take the place of AmbiDexterity and 2-Weapon Fighting for multiple-armed creatures.

Would it also have the restriction of those, as well?
So they can't use those arms to throw knives?
Only attack in melee?

Why can't I remember this aspect of the rules? *my head hurts*

just like with two armed humanoids, the dex feat applies, but the weapon feat doesn't.

It will benefit from Multi-Dexterity, but not Multi-Weapon Fighting.

Thank goodnies for that. I'd hate to have 4 knives thrown by a level one person with only a -2 modifier. But even at -4, it can get nasty with a 4 armed creature.

Is this the one from Mystic Races? I wanted to try making a tempest out of that, but I'm not sure the DM would allow it. Heck, I'm not sure as a player I'd allow it. :D

It says it only applies to 'natural attacks'.

Are throwing Knives a natural weapon? No. So the feat does not apply to throwing knives.
