Can you name a good fantasy TTRPG that's not D&D?

Have you played this one. Seems very interesting. Can it sustain campaign play?

It's pretty simple. Few skills and little in the way of advancement. You could probably do a short campaign with it, but I doubt it would hold up for a hundred session epic. Unless the players are far more focused on story over stats, then it might work fine. I think it works better as an intro game.

“Fantasy Heartbreaker” is simply a term used for a D&D knock-off.

Often attributed to breaking the designer's heart when his self-published variant sells about 50 copies of the 400 minimum order... back in the days before PDFs...
It really didn't apply to any that sold enough to justify a second edition....

Paranoia is excellent. it’s not fantasy but can be reskinned to a fantasy world dominated by castes and priests.

Or just dropped straight into Ravenloft

In Paranoia, the world is run by an insane friend computer. The players are trouble shooters whose job it is to find subversives and mutants and kill them. But everyone is secretly a subversive mutant.

So we turned this into fantasy role playing by having the computer be replaced by a god that lost his mind. The caste system in Paranoia works well enough to be straight forward imported. Instead of commies, we just had heretics who broke from the orthodoxy of the faith or apostates who had turned to other gods.
