Just downloaded and read it - it presents the KM as the great SF Academy challenge that it is, and with an added plot twist to make this group of cadets' experience with it unique. It's a short adventure, too - I can't see it taking any more than 60-90 minutes, in fact, unless players get really deep in the weeds with wild ideas of how to do things or nutty hypotheses about what's going on. But they never do that, right?

It first appeared in a computer game in 1985. Then in 1986, it was in a star trek novel. EDIT..... Wrath came out earlier!. Damm, I was young then!
