Canada Worldbuilding

The fun thing is to follow the standard fantasy trope of starting with a village, then expanding outwards, which works especially well in Canadian small towns.

I even have a series to find one and then tweak it.

I chose Bruce Alberta as my starter village in the tradition of Homlet, Saltmarsh, Loudwater, etc., due to family connections (the module is complete and even tested, but I'm dragging my heels on completing it because public domain/creative commons art only goes so far, commissioning art would break the bank (last time I did it, one piece of art destroyed any potential profit). and AI art has its own stigma).

I really like Canada (seeing as I'm from there) and love worldbuilding using it as a basis.

One of my white whales is making Canada an effective place to run a game.

What have you seen and done to turn Canada into a gameable world?
Not sure if you’re interested but there’s a skirmish game supplement for game called silver bayonet set in Canada. Even if your not into skirmish games the lore/monsters for Canada might be worth a look

Part 3 - Kaylna Country"Some places ‘round here don’t just tell stories—they make ‘em up while you’re standin’ there.Heard a chapel preach itself.…Don’t go near the weeping milepost."—Stumpy Magree

Kaylna Country - Part 3 - Weird Landmarks, Towns and Babas!

I think I'm finally starting to run out of material. I got a couple of things, but they aren't ready yet.

Anybody use any of this?
