I'm working on a horror western game set in a low-fantasy version of the Canadian Prairies. Ashcan rules are still cooking, but I've got a playtest recap here. If it interests you, let me know, I'll shoot you a copy of the playtest rules when they're ready.

Spruce Grove has never been stranger.Elves in trailer courts, dubstep coyotes, faerie playgrounds, cursed highways — the Capital Parkland keeps getting weirder in the best ways.Dive into Capital Parkland — Part 05: Spruce Grove below:

I really like Canada (seeing as I'm from there) and love worldbuilding using it as a basis.

One of my white whales is making Canada an effective place to run a game.

What have you seen and done to turn Canada into a gameable world?

Come meet the neighbours.

There will be a delay in worldbuilding. Trying to get the feel right.

Westlock continued — the Wrecker’s Anchorage: Beaverfolk shipyards, Bogey swash markets, diesel Dwarves, Feylin radio pirates, ghost trains & prairie pirates. A rail-bound wasteland ready for adventure.

Where light hibernates, and the road remembers. St. Albert becomes the Upper March: a radiant, moving nation of Kin, solar rituals, memory beads, and stubborn hope after the end of the world.
