Looks less bad than the previous trailer for the same, but I'll definitely be waiting for reviews on this. This kind of plot can very easily become dull, slow-moving and pompous (I guess "turgid" in both senses of the word), and Marvel movies have had some spectacular pacing issues.

I never expected it at all. They made it pretty clear, at the time, that it was a stand-alone movie. That it shows up at all actually does surprise me.

Trailers are trailers so the movie may be fine. From the trailer, it's hard to get excited, or at least it's a mixed bag. I like Sam as a character. The banter of the rest of them seems funny if a bit cartoonish. There's a Michael Bay style to all the CGI fights that doesn't land with me. Sam has no super powers so I don't know where they are going with all this.

I continue an MCU tragic and will of course see this asap.

I assume in style it will be like Winter Soldier. More of an action thriller than full on super hero shenanigans.
