Hmmm ok, so Im assuming that Sado is the only one with the book. Having the book would help, especially in regards to some class abilities and spells which differ from d20. But at its basic the game is similar enough to DnD that it wouldt be too difficult to pick up..ability checks and the concept of Prime abilities are the biggest difference.
Here is a link to a 7 page C&C cheatsheet with some basic info: (right click to save if you wish)

Kudos to mythmeres site and mhensley for putting that together. The pdf gives basic char gen and equipment info-it doesnt go into the mechanics too much but we can probably overcome that. I recommend the book if you like rpgs, its a nice book IMHO and just 20 bucks.
For what its worth, C&C is rules lite and remisnescent in some rules of Basic and First Ed AD&D. C&C halflings are very much like Tolkien hobbits- gnomes are not tinkers but rather creatures of nature, akin to foxes and tricksters. Rangers and bards are not spellcasters; rangers are fighters with wilderness skills, bards are more like sklads. There are no dump stats in C&C, all 6 stats are tied to various saves.
Anyway take a look at the sheet.
Kuld a dwarf paladin would be fine, and "newcomers" to PbP are always welcome.
If any of you have questions Im open to answering them. If Kuld and Scout want to join let me know and Ill roll up your stats.
