Catwoman trailer

I don't mind the costume, but they are changing too much core Catwomen stuff. In the movie, it does not take place in Gotham City, and she is not Cellina Kyle. because those 2 things are changed, IMO its not Catwomen.

You sound like your complaining... After the first few changes I was rather worried they wouldn't go all the way... Now if only WB could do DC a favor and lose the "Based on a character in DC comics..." :(

Anyhow, I saw the trailer like they attended it to be seen, aka on the big screen, and I must admit after seeing the trailer before Van Hesling that VH wasn't that bad of a move after all... :p

The show was perfect for what they were trying to do. Most 1960's shows don't work that well a third-of-a-century later. Both Kitt and Newmar (and Merriweather for that matter) looked great in the suit and of all the villains in that show the catwoman character actually stuck closest to the comic book portrayal of the character.

Yeah, I'll give you that. I guess it did stay close to the comics as they were at that time.

I guess that's just my general distaste (read: loathing) of 60s comics talking.

What? Not a fan of exploding gorillas? Giant space starfish? Lois Lane wondering if Bruce Wayne is really Superman? How about Jimmy Olsen gaining a new superpower every year, loosing it, then gaining another? Okay, I'll admit it, a lot of 60's comics did tend towards the silly side.

What, you don't like Jimmy Olsen, Elasti-lad?!

Hehe... yeah. That's about it.

Not that nothing good ever came of 60s comics, of course. On the Marvel side, we got Spider-man, the X-men, the Hulk, and just about all of their biggest hits. On the DC side, though... well... there's just very little DC material from the 60s of which I am personally fond. The only thing that I've read which I found really enjoyable were the Justice League/Justice Society team-ups, and even then they got steadily better after the 60s.
