CG vs. LE: Chaotic Good is Victorious!

Go with water blocking line-of-effect for breath weapons maybe?

I think the order of events would have the same results (Mr. R. would have used the a readied breath as 20cc cleared the water, then flown to the same spot - but maybe it's a round later which pushes back the recharge?

If the water only blocks fire, then the acid should work fine, otherwise how do black dragons manage? I think the chaos dragons have gotten off a couple of different underwater breaths, just not fire.

20cc will fly to 90n60e taking a defensive tail thwack at Mister Rustoleum as he goes over.

OOC: I think the idea was that a dragon needs to draw in a breath in order to use the breath weapon. Without water breathing, it cannot do that. But, that's why I pointed out int he spoiler block that in this case it occurred above water. Fire wouldn't work in that case because the water surface blocks line of effect. However, any dragon with water breathing, either as an extraordinary ability or via spell, should be able to breathe underwater.

Maybe a cover bonus to the Ref save if you are underwater and being breathed at by something above water. A gaseous breath weapon might be stopped by water.

Round 625

20cc smacks (rolled 45-4=41) Mister Rustoleum (my apologies for forgetting the title) for 19 points of damage. MR has 426 HP remaining.

As 20cc flies by, Mister Rustoleum smacks back with his tail (rolled 49) for 27-10=17 points of damage. 20cc has 54 HP remaining.

OOC:  So, a chaos dragon with DR/law has the chaotic subtype, but a rust dragon with DR/chaos does not have the lawful subtype. As if the rust dragon couldn't get any more pathetic.

The chaos dragon is the only planar dragon with an alignment subtype, so the rust dragon should not feel too bad. Also, the rust dragon is stronger than the chaos dragon. :)

PJS: [sblock]Since the Ready would also be his own action, he'll just take his own action, dropping Acid Fog at 95n65e then landing at 80n25e.[/sblock]

20cc is surrounded by thick, acidic vapors and takes 6 acid damage. He has 48 hp left.

20cc:[sblock]You sense something gargantuan land at 80N25E.[/sblock]

20cc starts round 626.

MR:[sblock]You are of course confused (22 Will save). You want to attack 20cc with melee or ranged weapons this round.[/sblock]

20cc can only manage to move 5 feet south to 85N60E.

MR's turn. 20cc takes 3 acid damage and has 45 hp left.
