I need an answer quick, I am making a character for a homebrew settings. The Dm let us choose what level to start off as, we picked 8. Two chose rogue, one chose barbarian/wizard, I chose a human sorcerer whose grandfather is a diety, a god of shadows and protection, named Vharskii(it sounds like Var-sk-eh). My character is level three for the adjustments, He gets to do several things because of his heratige: cast a shield of raw energy to protect himself; summon shadows of his alignment (CG) that have a free-will but will fight with him; and use divine shield: prevent 40 damage and a range at 150'. I want to use his next level to become a ranger too, dragons are good allies but deadly foes.
