Charge + AoO

Some stupidly simple questions I'm sure, but they've stumped me:

If you use the charge action to charge a person with 10 foot reach, and your reach is 5 feet, do you take an Attack of opportunity?

If you charge a person with 5 foot reach, do you take an attack of opportunity? Charge has AoO listed as "No", but is that merly to initiate the action, not the actual attack?

Yes, you provoke an AoO if charging someone with reach. The "no" entry for charging means that you don't provoke an AoO simply for initiating the charge, but the movement you make as part of the charge is still movement, and provokes AoOs as normal.

The SRD states
Provoking an Attack of Opportunity: Two kinds of actions can provoke attacks of opportunity: moving out of a threatened square and performing an action within a threatened square.
Charge the base action does not provoke an AoO (i.e. does not fit in the "performing an action within a threatened square" category) but if during your charge you move in such a way that you leave a square threatened by an opponent you would provoke an AoO (as per the "moving out of a threatened square" category). So against a foe with greater reach than you, you would provoke an AoO when charging because you would need to close with your opponent in order to make your attack and in doing so you would be forced to leave a square threatened by that opponent. If you charged a foe with equal or less reach than you, you would not provoke an AoO because the Charge Action its self does not provoke an AoO and you would not leave a square threatened by that opponent.
