In no particular order...

Buzz:
I'm going out on a limb, and saying that I will be able to attend this Gameday before I make all of the arrangements at home. I haven't reviewed all of the games offered for each slot, but would be willing to run either d20Modern or Call of Cthulhu during the event. Let me get caught up on the thread and the overall agenda, and I will update you accordingly.

Mark:
If I can manipulate JD and Shadowlight's carpool, I'd love a seat in your evening game...but that may take some doing. If things don't work out on that front it will be good to see you again!!

Barendd:
If things shake out right maybe you'll get your shot at playing in one of my CoC games  after all. BTW, how are things in your neck of the woods? I missed you at GenCon this year.

I didn't go this year. Really just bad timing more than anything else, but I really enjoyed *not* spending all that money. Guess I'm getting cheap in my old age.

But, hey, playing in your CoC game (or d20 Modern, or whatever) would make up for missing GenCon! :)

You and your Detroit Crew are all welcome to crash at my house, but since it's in Milwaukee that might not be so convenient for you. :p

Hey Buzz, how about a rundown of what prize support has been accumulated so far. That way we know who has generously donated and whom else we might make inquiries to. I would not want to bug someone who has already contributed. Since an AU game is scheduled, has anyone sent a polite note to Monte? Just a thought.
Fiery Dragon donated 2 copies each of Adventure Tiles Dungeons and Arriba Espana, which is a wargame packed in their tin.

Anyone planning on running d20 Modern or Star Wars?

okay folks....

good news & bad.

Bad = had a accident at work w/ a circular saw that nearly resulted in the loss of two fingers. luckily, had a great, great hand-surgeoun and i am still 2 short of a dozen digits, thank the maker. (technically, there's a minor chance of the loss of one still, but my doc and I are very, very hopeful.)

Good = i do not anticipate this stopping me from running my games at G-Day. it's month+half away, which should put me halfway through rehab, hopefully...so i should be good to go.

Shadowlight: I am doing a D20 Mod game in the morning. At first i was planning on doing a 70's cop show type game...I think I might stick with that and hope that you and others will be willing to give it a shot.

Buzz: can i get dipbs on the private room for the morning game? i see someone claimed it for the afternoon slots already, which is way cool.

thanks all...

sorry for the typing...done one handed and all.

Due to the other two D&D events running in the afternoon slot, I think I will closed the vote and run my OA in slot 2. That way we can have some variety.
Cool! Done.

Don't push yourself, FC. If your hand doesn't feel up to it, stay home and recuperate. Your desire to be a trooper is greatly appreciated, though. :)

Dibbs dibbed!

I am leaning towards playing the AU event in the morning and Mark's game late at night. (The only things that should stop me from staying late are as yet unassigned homework projects from grad school, having to serve as a back up DM, or total obliteration of the planet. Hmm, maybe we ought to be careful about any CoC or Synnibar games. )

So, let's fill up the last slot!

Floyd, a speedy recovery!! I hope you will be well enough to attend, but your health comes first.

Also, as I recall, the slots run from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m, with a one hour lunch break, and a prize drawing at 3:30 p.m.

thanks guys! i fully expect to be able to run. it was my off-hand, so i can write...typing is sllloooooooooooooowww...but i can write.

heck, over the next few weeks i just might spend a few days with kurt at g.p. writing up my adventures and pc's!!

actually, i will be really ready for it from a "wanna have a good time" mental aspect i am sure after a month of therapy, which i have been told will be pretty tough, due to it being a hand and all.

i'll just take a extra pain pill that day. ;)

looking forward to the fun!!!!!!!

I'm very bummed I'm missing out on this gameday, as it looks like it's gonna be a great one. I'll be thinking of you all while I'm stuck on the field of Memorial Stadium helping out a bunch of little highschool marching band punks. Roll some criticals for me, folks! :D
