Buzz, I guess you will have to decide on the date for the Gameday. Assuming that it will be after October 16th, we have a chance to promote the Gameday at the 30th Anniversary Event. (Even if it's just a mention by thalmin and a poster, that might draw some more people in.)

I think we should avoid Nov 7th, as that is Rock-Con in Rockford.

I guess we need to look at a different day for our Chicago Game Day. Oct 23 works for us, as does the 30th, but that's probably too close to Halloween.

I'm good with the 23rd. A nice, round date laden with occult significance.

What are the qualifications and required duties of an official D&D day DM? Any rewards for helping WotC gain further d20 minions..err..consumers.

thalmin and buzz: Assuming that the Gameday will be October 23rd, do you think it might be a good idea to try to do an EN World Meetup on October 16th? (I proposed an idea in the Chicago gamer seeking a good group thread in my sig?) Or would an earlier date be better?

Regardless, maybe a few of us can see if we can be of any help to thalmin on October 16th. Games Plus and thalmin have been great supporters of the Gamedays, so maybe we can do something to show our appreciation. (Besides giving thalmin the codes to Bill Gates Swiss bank accounts. )

Just a thought, how about contacting the new ENies winners for some prize support. I would bet they might be in a generous mood.
