The tall northerner stands and, with drink in hand, walks to the table where Galwynn sits.

"Herr paladin, if i may two questions i ask, bita?"
without an invitation, the youn human sits in an empty chair, ...though he does wait for an answer.

Galwynn nods slowly. "It's a free world. I can't guarantee an answer, of course, but I will do my best."

Kind of curious about the adventure, now. Was Lasair on the ball? Cuz, Galwynn just might round up a posse to go check out Covington. Might even give you a chance to run a "return to..." adventure? Or should I just say Galwynn goes to investigate and finds nothing?

[sblock=Wik]More likely an overprotective father who wanted a shotgun wedding with the wrong man, till daughter ran away with the freefolk.

It was a party of 6, that at one point had 5 different romance plots going of some fashion. It was probably the fastest adventure in LEW to get to 2100 posts (Took less than 6 months I think), and the second part of Festival of Halina was aptly named "Adventurer's Gone Wild". Of the 3 that stayed, 2 went on one adventure that had a tie to it of sorts (Niobe's Dilema), and the 3rd followed his love to Rheim.[/sblock]

Keldar turns. "I know an invitation when I hear one!" he calls. "Halina and Keldar agree! Our fates are intertwined. We shall do great deeds together, Galwynn. And have no fear, I will be sure to sing of them afterwards!"
"Careful, Galwynn might see that last part as a threat," says Rapture with a smirk.

[sblock=Bront]Ah. That clears a lot up, thanks. I guess Galwynn has to wait for something else, then. Sounds like it was a fun one.[/sblock]

Galwynn smiles, and exchanges glances with Rapture. He taps his nose, and winks.

(OOC: In Lasair's mind, the man is totally corrupt. Out of character I wouldn't be surprised if he was Lawful Evil. He tolerates slavery, attempted to control his daughter's life in a draconian fashion, and incarcerated people on false accusations. Lasair thinks he should be exiled, not lauded as mayor ;))

OOC: Um, where was the slavery? And since when has draconian protection of a daughter been out of character for a midevel/renesance type of setting for a father?

(OOC: Scarlet. Not out of setting at all--perfectly setting appropriate. Many real-world medieval settings were fairly Lawful Evil though. They generally had slavery, oppression, persecution, etc)
