I am really amazed how Sigil and Greyhawk managed to make it so far...
Both products are OOP (especially Sigil). I am wondering what is the meaning of this... how waterdeep and sharn were out of competition (metropolies with almost constant support) whereas metropolies that were abandoned still keep strong? Does this imply they are strong as financial products (for WotC) that dont exploit?

Good lord, was the entire Planescape line a series of picture books?

Not a series. Just one book called "Curious George Joins the Blood War". Oddly enough, there was never a sequel.

I've suddenly got an image in my head of a bar-Igura named George and a molydeus in a yellow hat...

Yeah, and be nice to Whizbang. He's one of the more consistently intelligent, thought-provoking posters on these boards.

Good stuff! I'd buy these.

Finally, is it really that much of a surprise that the Sigil crowd "got the vote out"? Isn't it well-known that Planescape has the most ardent groupies?

My apologies to all...Tsidkenu is my DM-ling and he can get a bit...animated and enthuastic at times (which is not always a bad thing, mind you)... However, I can assure you all that Tsid meant no harm.

Say yer sorry, Tsid... :P

If the person in front of you in a movie theater were talking during the movie, but you knew that during most other movies they were quiet, would you get irritated with them for being rude this time? I know I would. I don't care if you are normally a polite person. If you are being rude, then you are being rude.

The reason to be civil to people on these boards has nothing to do with who they are or what they've done, and everything to do with the rules that have been posted for all to see.

*shrug* I could be wrong I suppose, it certainly wouldn't be the first time...

I NEVER SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT PLANESCAPE.

Er, no (but they do have a good selection of sketches). ;)

My apologies. Once more, diction--without intonation--strikes again. :sigh:

Anywho, Whiz, glad you enjoy gaming--that's what counts. :)

How about I never said the things the Planescapinistas are attacking me over? Even the "apology" still insinuates I said things that I simply never said.

Seriously, what the hell?
