I think the important factor is whether or not, in the mind of the person using the glove, the object they try to place in the glove is one object in terms of utility. I think it has to work that way- how would the glove know a single object from a composite object?
Contained in the box or bag, fine. You're really just storing the box/bag, and the dominoes/gp come along for the ride."box of dominoes"? "Bag of gold pieces"?
Bound, fine. Loose, problem."Stack of paper" (as opposed to "book")?
Assuming bound together in a sack or box, fine. As separate items, problem."One meal's worth of dry rations"? "Calligraphy kit"? "Disguise kit"?
Closed, fine. Open, not fine. Considering the standard quiver doesn't over covering/closing flaps, not fine."Quiver of arrows"?
Not fine. Unless, maybe, you tie them together."Pair of boots"?
Fine. You're storing a single item, just like a pearl necklace is also safe."Charm bracelet full of charms"?

On a similar topic, does a glove of storing hold spell durations in stasis as well (cant find my DMG). Say, cast darkness on a small rock, store it(no darkness). cast blindsight on yourself before going into combat. draw the rock and put it in your off hand. Kill enemies.
Im not sure if it would work. Gotta check w/ the DM after i find this out.
