D&D 5E Classes that Suck

Well this is because WOTC has always been uncreative on ranger spells. TSR too since WOTC just copied most of their spells.

Baleen Bomb
Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: Self
Components: V, S
Duration: Concentration (maximum 10 minutes)

The caster immediately sprouts giant hummingbird wings and becomes pregnant with a baby baleen whale. At any time before the spells ends, the caster may decide to prematurely give birth to the baleen whale. The caster takes 20 points of force damage as the whale emerges from his or her body. If the caster is flying, the baleen whale falls to the ground. Any creature directly under by the falling baleen must make a dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 15d6 bludgeoning damage, is knocked prone, and smells like fish until its next bath.

Well from all of the responses I have seen in this thread and others, the only consensus is the Ranger. Many people feel the Monk, Sorcerer, and Warlock are fine and enjoy playing them. So I think the evidence supports just "fixing" the Ranger at this time.
The ranger is also in the top half of classes played. Obviously it’s a bit more complicated than arguments like this make it seem.

Because like the flavour, but the flavour is not well supported and a lot of what special things a Rangers does ends up being un-interactive auto-passing obstacles. It's not particularly thrilling.

A "class that sucks" is one that isn't fun to play. And since I've had fun playing every class, I can honestly say that none of them suck. But that's not really helpful for this discussion.

I will admit that some classes are more fun to play than others. For the style of game that we usually run (about 50% Exploration, 25% Combat, and 25% Social) the class that I had the most fun playing was a Warlock (Hexblade, bladepact), and the one that was the least fun was the Fighter (Champion). And if you twist my arm and force me to rank them in order:

CleverNickName's Scale of Fun
------MOST FUN------
Warlock
Wizard
Paladin
Sorcerer
Cleric
Druid
Barbarian
Bard
Rogue
Ranger
Monk
Fighter
------LEAST FUN------

But I reiterate: I've had some fun playing each and every one of these. So none of them "suck," according to me.
