I'm generally not a big fan of flavored alcohols, but 21 Seeds' cucumber-jalapeno tequila is excellent.

My wife and make a quickie margarita with it with 2 parts tequila, 1 part lime juice, 1 part agave syrup and a sprinkle of salt into the tin.

They have orange and grapefruit flavors as well, which are fine, but I never found them to be particularly successful in cocktails.

What's your preferred whiskey for an Old Fashioned?

I usually favor rye, but can be convinced to try a bourbon here and there.

I usually ask for buffalo trace to be safe. But I also like rye a lot. I should have known better than to get one where I did.....

I remember liking their grapefruit hibiscus one, but cucumber jalapeno sounds good too.

My local goth night has signature cocktails and their The Crow is a margarita variant with hibiscus. Though I think it's a stronger flavor thereof. They use a homemade hibiscus simple syrup, split the liquor half and half as tequila and Del Maguey mezcal, and give it a black salt rim.

The guy who runs it is a big foodie and cocktail aficionado as well. They have the classic Red Death on there, as well as other custom creations like the White Zombie (an espresso drink with option of mezcal or vodka for the base spirit) and the Thrill Kill Kult (fruity, with coconut).

NO COCKTAIL INVOLED: I woke up yesterday morning went to McDonalds and the liquor store. Came out with a bottle of Dewers Scotch, as I had just watched Arthur 2: On the Rocks. Better than I remembered. I awoke looking for my lighter and pipe in the garage today. Besides at least 20 beers, cannabis, me and my gf drank the whole bottle of Scotch. When I went out for my pipe the emoty bottle of Scotch was broken on the floor. Im guessing when we got up to leave it fell off the table and broke. At least thats what Im telling myself so I can sleep tonight.

Pretty mediocre old fashioned at this ok bar in the airport. The good bar was out of cherries and wouldn't make an old fashioned.... And I'm too lazy to look for more bars.

Had one of the worst Negronis last week in an airport bar. It’s three ingredients! How do you screw that up? Easy. Let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes before giving it to the customer so it’s already watered down.

It was!! in South Buffalo at least. Might kill other mortal men, but WTF let's throw back a bottle of Scotch+ and be up in 5 hours
