Although there was a beer they used to carry called Elephant which I think was made by Becks. They were really strong and tasted good so worth the $20 a 12.pk. They were hard to find there as they only carried them once in a while.

In case it helps you find it, Elephant is from Carlsberg in Denmark. It's one of my favorites, too. No relationship with Becks that I can find, though I haven't looked very hard.

Im glad I did this experiment, pretty much re-enforced what I already knew. Im a simple guy, few shots and some beer; few Chivas Regal's on the rocks once in a while but yeah, I've decided involved mixed drinks aren't for me. Those Moscow Mules were good for the first 2, but after that just beat me over the head and my lips were numb from the ginger beer. Well. here I go, I have a 1PM date with the Sabre's game and some Pabst Blue Ribbon. I remember as a kid watching the games and you could tell the play-by-play announcers, specifically Jim Lorenz was getting ripped in press box, you could hear beer bottles getting kicked around in the background...

PBR is my favorite cheap beer. I have a lot of memories of gaming with cases of Pabst.

Back when I used to drink coffee, tossing a bunch of liqueurs in it was how I rolled (at least on the weekends).

I like this once in a while, but I prefer my coffee to not be sweet these days, and it's hard to pull that off with liqueurs. I've definitely lost my sweet tooth over time; I was once a two creams, three sugars kind of guy, and now I'm cream but no sugar, and if I'm feeling sassy and the coffee is good enough, maybe a wee dash of salt.

The beer scene with Hopper and MacLauchlin in Blue Velvet is the best PBR thing of all time.

Most days I take my tea with a splash of milk, no sugar.

Bringing things back to cocktails, for the longest time I liked my cocktails bitter herbal, but I've started to appreciate sweeter drinks again. Either way, though, I prefer them potent.

Between the mass-produced domestic beers such as Budweiser, Molson Canadian, Coors Banquet, the taste between those and PBR is negligible at best as far as I'm concerned. I buy PBR because I can get a 30 pack for $20.71as opposed to $28-$30 for the others. Once in a while I'll buy Heineken but I'm not really much for craft brews unless I happen to go to one of the local bar/breweries, which is almost never.

That beer I mentioned earlier is Elephant by Carlsberg, if you can find it I recommend it.

Talking about sweet drinks, I used to drink Southern Comfort and Pepsi for many years, I don't think I could stomach them anymore, can't remember the last time I had one?
