Well since this thread was ressurected, I think I'll ask a question that has been bugging me.

Anarchic and Axiomatic are incompatible - you can't be both chaotically-aligned and lawfully-aligned. There's no such alignment.

Brilliant Energy basically makes the weapon into a Magic <kevida> Lightsaber.

That's the real analogy to what it is. Ignoring the fact that Lightsabers in the SW universe can affect nonliving things (and which is what makes BE magic and different), there's no part of a Lightsaber's blade that can be anything other than energy.

That's the correlation we've always used, including the 'flavor' that such weapons are just hilts or hafts and 'ignited' (taking exactly the same amount of time as if they were unsheathed).

Energy Weapon

In a book thats at my friends house there's a grey energy type that can be put on a weapon that only deals damage to nonliving matter it deals damazge to constructs and the dead as well as other things. And shadow is another type of energy that can bypass armor as well even though its a para elemental.
