Collapsed lung

My little sister (age 14) went into hospital today with a collapsed lung. She's fine, on oxygen and they've been draining the chest cavity. The strange thing is that they can't explain how the air is getting in to the chest, and the lung isn't re-inflating.

Again shes fine, all the doctors are puzzled, and I'm going in tommorow to see her.
