Combat Reflexes with AOO's

Ok I want to know if this is correct. For an example of this please look at the latest Order of the Stick.

Ok, if I have Combat Reflexes which allows me to have the ability to make 2 attacks of opportunity a round, can I use both on the same target.

For example, if my opponent does 2 things that provoke an attack of opportunity within my reach, would I be able to make 2 attacks of opportunity on him.

The example in order of the stick is a half-ogre with a spiked chain, giving him 15' reach. The fighter moves in, and the ogre takes 2 AOO's since the fighter has to enter/exit a threatend square twice to get within melee range.

Thanks for any info.

Yes, so long as the target does two different things that provoke AoOs. Generally, charging through 2 threatened squares does not provoke 2 AoOs from the same person...but see my post above.

Yes.

No. Movement only provokes 1 AoO. The half-ogre has to have another feat to pull off 2 AoOs. If Rich thinks differently...well, he's wrong. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

(Here's a link to the correct comic, in case anyone reads this at a later date: http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript?SK=216)

If your opponent does two things that provoke AoOs, and you have Combat Reflexes, you can make two AoOs.

However, moving in your threatened area counts as 1 "thing" no matter how many squares he moves.

Moving out of more than one square threatened by the same opponent in the same round doesn’t count as more than one opportunity for that opponent.
So, Roy was cheated by the ogre munchkin. He should have studied harder in Fighter School.

Edit: I didn't think of Hold the Line. (I never even went to Fighter School.)
