Actually I am quite happy with the balance in D&D between TWF fighters, twohanded weapon fighters, polearm fighters, ranged combat dudes and even swashbucklers.
Still... for a cheap MW buckler, we have the same effect for the buckler feat...... which makes it boring IMHO. I'll houserule it into something funny.
Edit: Duh... you still get a -1 to hit no matter whether the buckler is MW or not... weird. Now that's a change from 3.0 I didn't notice yet.
