[*]Monster Geographica: Forest & accompanying Fiery Dragon Counters Nifty small, portable monster book, with matching counters done by the fabulous Claudio Pozas.

you might recognize a certain someone's name in the credits... *whistles innocently*

I didn't purchase much at all this year... I did, however, manage to snatch a copy of the Mutants and Masterminds Second Ed. book, a couple of t-shirts and a nice set of dice. In my defense I was really busy.

Did anyone see Monstertiles.com running around? If so, that would have been me and my partners. We had a blast talking with everyone and seeing new products.

A hardy thanks to all that we met from EN World in their hotel room, it was great to put faces with names (and nicknames). The conversation that I had with Stuart and Crothian was very enjoyable. I wish all of you well.

[*]Faeries - not much of a d20 book (it has 1 creature), but getting the book was my total fanboy moment for the con. I saw Stephani Pui-Mun Law at the con, and saw the ENnie medal for Blue Rose hanging over a print of the cover. I went over and congratulated her (she had not known she had won until that morning) and saw a stack of books there with her art and the offer that, if purchased, she would do a sketch on the spot in the book. It was awesome. Considering that there are a number of RPG designers and developers that would know me on sight (reactions vary...), I don't so much have fanboy syndrome with RPG professionals. But I was such a total fanboy at that moment.
I've been holding off on buying this until a review hit the Net. I eagerly await your further reading.

Shadowrun 4th Ed. -- Still reading it. I haven't played this since the first one came out. It looks like a lot of the rules have been simplified.

Iron Heroes -- Sweet. I got to play a demo with Mike Mearls. I like how this book encourages much more movement on the battlemat. Lately, our combats have been: 1) move into optimal position. 2) stand there and lay down the smack. I love the token mechanism!

Wooden die rolling tower thingy -- It's an L-shaped wooden tower with a felt-lined tray at the bottom. You drop your dice in the top and they roll out into the tray. But not before they make a satisfying clickety-clackety sound on the way down.

Kiltlifter Immortal Ale T-Shirt from the Ram -- I love this beer. I'm going to go get a growler for this week's Thursday gaming session.

SWAG -- not as much as last year: cool dice from Gamestation, sample poker chips, a bunch of CCG cards I won't ever use. That's about it.

Oh goodness... The Universe and I bought *a lot*.

My highlights were:

- Iron Kingdoms books and No Quarter 1 and 2.

- Set of Hurst Arts molds (for the gothic dungeon and tower).

- DICE (rose quartz from Crystal Caste, purple d6's with unicorns for 1's, among about 30 other dice).

- A Dice Box (roll your dice in something nice). Really nifty wooden box in which one rolls their dice instead of on - say - your books. Also holds pencils, minis, and other things while not gaming. VERY cool.

- Mutants and Masterminds 2nd Ed.

There's a whole lot of other things (Tact Tiles, like 10 other books, and A LOT of miniatures... but I'll let The Universe post about those things later... now I need to go roll my unicorn dice).

I too picked up the Beast Builder and made Joe sign it. :)

I also attended the Roast of Ed Greenwood and they handed out Elminster minis with his D&D mini game stats for both regular play and the new epic rules.

I also got 1 of the 12 copies of Z-man Games Berserk Halflings in the Dungeon of Dragons ,which is a fun little card game.

Got a T-shirt from Blue Devil Games after they ran out of their bracelets to get free stuff.

Bought the new Order of The Stick book

It was nice meeting and talking with you guys. It made my day when you were talking about all the good reviews on EN World before you realized I was in the room.

Darn nabbit, I missed those. I talked to the guy before they got in and forgot to keep checking for them. You gotta telkl me more about this card game, I love the rest of theirs.

Ah, you are one of those who prevented me from buying more Z-man Games awesomeness! It's a damn shame that they sold out of it at the Con.
