--------------------------------

I suppose that more or less all the subclasses in the last playtest packet are likely to end up in the PHB, but some might have been merged, removed, or renamed and changed significantly.

Which ones are you especially fond of and really hope aren't missing in the PHB?

Is there any other subclass concept previously unseen that you would love to see in the PHB, or that you feel it will in fact be there?

Paladin Oaths: Ancients('green knight'), Vengeance('avenger')
Rogue: Arcane Trickster

Someone mentioned there might be a second cleric domain in the DMG, but I haven't heard anything else about this.

Allegedly the Paladin will also have Avenger and Green Knight, and Arcane Trickster for the rogue.

EDIT: Beat to the punch.

You don't have monk up here.

The subclasses seem to be way of the open hand, way of the shadow, and way of the 4 elements.

Also ranger has hunter and beastmaster.

I believe elemental is possible for the sorcerer

Some sort of elemental or storm subclass is suggested in the second paragraph of the PHB sorcerer excerpt, but further down it's explicitly mentioned that draconic and wild magic are the sole options. Perhaps an elemental sorcerer can be made from one of these subclasses, much like the warlord can be made from the battle master. Then again, it could be hinting at the future.

I will update the first post.

Did you see them in the (in)famous alpha document, or has anyone from WotC mentioned these at some point?
