Considerations with season 1/2 characters jumping into new season

First Post
I played through RoT, LMoP, and PotA with a few characters, stopped playing for a while and decided to hop back into AL, with the local games being either in ToA or TftYP. I downloaded the new player's guide and FAQ, though didn't find anything specific on it.

Are there any new rules/considerations I need to take into account before bringing said characters into a game?

Where can I find guidance for PotA, specifically about possibly being able to recharge between sessions or remove from my MiC the Balloon Bag or Weird Canister?

I have a Tyranny of Dragons character at level 4, from what I see from the FAQ, I can do a rebuild using the PHB+1 rules and make use of some of the new race/class combos, correct?

Thank you

You can rebuild any character before level 5. Hey before level 5 you could rebuild each level and change your +1 every level using Tortle Package, sword coast, elemential evil companion, etc.
Current faq states all items recharge between sessions.
The current season is 7. ToA. Read about the Death Curse.

Yes, you are going to have to be careful about Season 7 and the Death Curse. It's going to really screw your Tier 1 and 2 characters over, even though it's supposed to be "over". Sigh.

If your pc dies while playing in TOA hard cover, Season 7 adventure, or a CC convention adventure, you play a surrogate. Check out the dm guild for the zip file. Or the dm may have copies.

Well, don't let them die and don't get any "reduce your maximum HP" effects because those become permanent until the death curse is removed for that character. I have a 6th level barbarian who is permanently down 18 HP (until the death curse is gone) due to a run in with a vampire.

Yeah. My 6th level druid died twice in Barovia, so she's automatically down 20 the first time I play her. 50 something to 30 something is a huge hit before you even play.
