Oh I'll just have shoot you with a Seeker Arrow with 15 or so Daylight spells cast on it. That should rid you of any shadows you're hiding in.:D

Spot and Wilderness Lore is a Class skill for Arcane Archer. I'll be seeing you and Tracking you.

Nah I'll just close in on you, and hide in the shadow your scrawny elf butt creates from the light of all those light spells I got attached to me with that one seeker arrow per day.

Heh. Singular opponents are owned by Peerless Archers/Deepwood Snipers, especially ones with mediocre hit points like rogue/shadowdancer combos. Can you ready a 1st level spell? If so then a maximized Power Shot/x5 Crit from a Readied Hunter's Mercy will end your day with one solitary arrow.

Or a Readied True Strike (Deepwood Sniper class ability) with a buffed up Power Shot will do just as well. You have to pop out of the shadows quite a few times to nickel and dime a Ranger/Peerless Deepwood Sniper to death. Unfortunately the first time you do you're dead.

Ok by the level you get x5crit/power shot auto crit maddness exactly how much damage are these uber single shots, and how many of them do you get per day. Because chances are I'd have multiple fighter and order of the bow levels by then so my HP wouldn't suck that bad.

Where are those prestige classes from anyways, I think deepwood sniper is MoTW is peerless archer there too?

Peerless Archer is from The Silver Marches. And it doesn't matter if you have a few fighter levels, these guys can take out dragons with one shot. And don't even think about sneak attacking him. If you're doing that you're within Manyshot range. Goodnight Gertrude.

One if they can single shot any real dragons, then there is something seriously wrong with this prestige class.

Two, manyshot wont help you. If I sneak attack, yes I'm within 30' but I go hide, shot, hide all thanks to shot on the run and HiPS. You either have to spot me,(good luck) or ready a aciton, readied acitons mean one attack.

Heh heh, say the "B" word. You know you want to.

Right. One Readied Hunter's Mercy which makes it an instant natural 20 critical (only roll to confirm), at x5 Critical and full Power Shot times four arrows (Manyshot lets you fire four arrows from your bow on a single attack/crit damage isn't multiplied but Power Shot is). Shadow Boy is Dead in Plain Sight.

lol, i actually did something simliar the other day.... while i cant powershot yet.... i cast hunters mercy and next round readied a manyshot action against anything that tried to atack me. Voila 1 dead atempting a sneak atack rogue. 1d8+6x3 +1d8+6. It totaled 47 damage to that poor 6th level rogue.

You might want to rethink your Physics or go back to school. If a Daylight spell is emanating from you, you are correct there would be a shadow behind me, but as soon as you move the shadow also moves. You are the source of the light. Oooops! You can't hide there.

Not just 1 arrow:
Seeker Arrow fired on a hasted action and a follow up of 6 more arrows
Phase Arrow fired on a hasted action and 6 more arrows.
Hail of arrows

Actually a Shadowdancer doesn't hide in a shadow when Hiding in Plain Sight, he just needs to be within 10' of one. Then he just turns effectively invisible unless Spotted.
