Finally went down here in California. Was $10 for 18, now $6.

How much for you?

They were around $4 USD a dozen think they're $6-7.

Shortage here never effected us to bad, bigger places ran out. My cities a bit more resistant to shortages and our household is almost immune.

So a local Facebook group is dedicated to fish and chips. They have been hyping up a shop we haven't tried yet. Wife's Aunty however was coming around from that direction.

Ordered chips and a cheese, pineapple and egg burger.

My order.

Fish, chips, sausage.

The portion sizes were huge so got a half piece of fish and split the sausage as well. Big thick steak fries.

What makes it “Philippine?”

The staff and I asked them about it. They're doing Chinese/Japan style meals but pork their style.

First time I've tried a chopped up bacon burger like that. They used to work at our local place before some drama that lead to new owners.

They want to open a place in town. Location isn't great tbh its my old Arabic place and Turkish sandwich place.

We had a Filipino place in town and food truck they were great. Would rather eat thst than yet another Chinese/Japanese place which are basically everywhere (for good reason).

But kinda over Chinese food (only food you coukd get back in 80's hmetown) and We have a lit of Japanese places in town and elsewhere. Nice food just been eating it for decades.

So complete crap week. Mah kitteh died a week ago. Basically didn't eat dinner or bought food.

Sister in laws favorite Indian place opened a new location in our suburb. The owner is also one of our favorite breakfast locations and I had my birthday dinner last year there. So we went and checked it out.

@Zardnaar
Jealous of all the yummy food you come across!

I live in a pretty small town that's expensive and lacks variety, so I don't go out to eat much. I guess I'm grateful in a way though, since that's what drove me to start cooking.
