Man, why are some of the best deities (Lolth, Vecna, St. Cuthbert) so damned unpopular? Are PCs just lashing out at those who have made life miserable for them in the past?
Because Lolth has accumulated layer upon layer of cheese over the years and Vecna belongs in the game as a mysterious lich, not as a wildly unmysterious god. St. Cuthbert, I've got no idea.
Wow, lots of Vecna hate. I'm voting for Pelor 'til he's gone (which may or may not be a while, seeing as he's in second place after Vecna at the moment).
I just voted for Vecna's removal - fellow just isn't a deity in my book. Jumped up little toe-rag!
St Cuthbert is next on the hit list. Did you know that Durham University in the UK actually has a St Cuthbert's College? How the D&D players keep a straight face I don't know... I had a serious fit of the giggles on a 5-day course
"Morado" in espanish means "purple", while "Moradin" would mean something like "Purply". However, the god's concept is very good, only its name is not.
