Corporate Defiance

Krandor scratches his chin as he reads the information. "I agree, human. However, exfiltration would be easier if we usssse the delivery transport. Perhapss we could enter through the roof, and leave in the transport." He leans back and considers the buildings' defenses. Droidekas, eh? Maybe I should invest in some emp grenades....

"I agree. The roof sounds like an ideal infiltration point." Cydarius shrugs. "It sounds like we may be facing some stiff opposition in there. Doing this quietly may prove difficult."

Krandor looks up at Rath; "Well, with luck Caine will create a disssstraction that will prevent immediate reinforccement. Then, if we disable the security network, there shouldn't be a problem exccccept for those Droidekasss." He shrugs. "That's just my take on it."

Enough to wipe out the entire Sub-Floor.” Say R.C. in an obvious tone. “My only concern is this. ” She quickly adds as she moves closer to the briefing slides and then says, “What’s going to happen to the 10-odd floors above it? ” After she takes a few moments to review the basic floor plan she looks over to group and comments, “We'll need a timed fuse, say 20 minutes. That should give us enough time to get out.

Also, what about splitting up? Say a two prong approach. One team can go in through the roof and secure both the main security and server room, while the other team can go through the delivery docks and head immediately for the sub floors. That way the server team can provide instant recon for the raid team via our own Comlink plus the building’s own comline and the raid team is that much closer to the main objective. Finally both teams can meet up at either location for extraction.

Cydarius casts a glance at R.C. "Why a timer? Why not use a remote detonator? That way we can be sure our team is out of harm's way before we blow the place to ashes. As far as the two pronged approach goes, I suppose that could work. If we run into the droidekas, we may wish we had the entire team's firepower on hand." Rath scratches at his chin for a moment while he thinks. "We should also be prepared for surprises. You all know as well as I do that our intelligence isn't always accurate."

"Yes, that is a good thought. Perhaps we should bring both types of detonators, and we can make the final decision once we have been inserted." Cyd nods his head at the Trandoshan. "The ion grenades are a good idea, too. We should see if Cayla has a few she can supply us with. I'm tempted to wear my stealth suit during this mission, instead of my armor. It won't provide me with any protection should a firefight break out, but it will give me a definite edge in moving about unseen. What do you guys think?"

"If we do go with the two pronge approach, my talents would be far better suited with the team that takes the control rooms on the top floor." Offers R.C. as they go over the plan.

"Sector has a few ready, just in case." Cayla, admittedly, has been here as well, watching quietly. "As for the droids... if the main server is connected throughout the entire facility, then it won't be a problem. If Sub-Level 7 has it's own dedicated server, though, then it might prove problematic." She leans back in her seat. "Personally, I'm betting Sub-Level 7 has a dedicated server of it's own, but the droid remote control is part of the main server. If that's the case, then we ought to have an easy time of it."

She scoots forward in her chair. "I have a couple of taps ready, however -- they should allow me to access the mainframe remotely through the rig Sector has set up for me in our transport. If all goes well, I should be able to re-route the droid patrols so that you won't have any problems, as well as sift through Gentech's files at my leisure. If there is a dedicated server on Sub-Level 7, then I definitely want a tap in place. The potential information we could get wouls be too good to pass up."
