I hope the Nanite Hive doesn't win, It might be good for sci-fi, but not the fantasy accociated with D&D. And besides, I feel it should be an ooze...

The Nanite Hive can get a different, less sci-fi name. The "flesh-bag" might get a bit of a facelift. Remember, they're only concepts, and the end result might be a little different (though not by much, we do want it to be still recognizable, right? ).

That's another thing I don't like, the pseudonaturally inspired creatures should be aberrations or outsiders, not vermin...

Anyways, it's just an opinion, so don't take it to seriously...

Besides, we can always change the creature type if we wind up with something that is definetly not a vermin in the end. It's not like it hasn't been done before...
