Our creature will be a gargantuan vermin. That raises the question of alignment:

Most vermin in official 3E products are always neutral in alignment, with only three exception: the puppeteer (and I wouldn't be surprised if it was changed) and the two locust swarms from the Fiend Folio (There are a few other non-neutral vermin in third-party products, though).

I would propose to keep the question of alignment to those who submit the actual creature concepts, unless someone minds.

i see no reason why vermin can't have another alignment. neutral is just the generally accepted alignment of mindless creatures.

That's why I want to leave it those posting their creature concept in a latr thread. If a different alingment makes sense for their concept, they can have it (though I would advise to keep the true neutral if they aren't sure).

Well, if we gave the Vermin the (Extraplanar) subtype, it would make sense that the vermin would have the same alignment as it's native plane, such as LE if it was from Archeron for instance... (hmmm Adamant Beetle...)

If the vermin will not be extraplanar however, neutral would probably be the best choice.
