LOL $12.99 a month. Or in our house, $441,294,301 a month after all orders are tallied.wow, Amazon is $13 in the US? It's A LOT cheaper here in BRazil (I think there's a first for everything)

That... I never said anything about the volume. I'm talking about the one-sidedness.The volume of the screaming really isn't all that important, is it?
I had to disable Alexa voice ordering and password protect ordering every other way (to at least add in an extra step). Not enough impulse control among any of us in the household!LOL $12.99 a month. Or in our house, $441,294,301 a month after all orders are tallied.![]()
I think I've ordered all of 3 things on Amazon. My wife and daughter on the other hand have multiple packages coming literally most days of the week and 1 on the rest. It's a very rare day that nothing arrives.I had to disable Alexa voice ordering and password protect ordering every other way (to at least add in an extra step). Not enough impulse control among any of us in the household!
A D&D party (Gnome Bard, Gnome Cleric, Goliath Barbarian, Half-Elf Rogue, Half-Elf Ranger, Half-Wlf Druid, and a Human Fighter) going on D&D Adventures. Somewhat serious, somewhat tongue in cheek.I know very little about Critical Role and even less about the show. I wouldn't know about the show at all if not for this thread.
I do have Prime though.
What is the show about?
It's basically a retelling of an arch that happened in their campign before they started streamming, and one of the archs of their first campaign.I know very little about Critical Role and even less about the show. I wouldn't know about the show at all if not for this thread.

I figured it was a linguistic thing. I just always feel like a bit of a tool correcting the English of someone who's obviously quite fluent, especially when I've got at best a few words in any other languages. Thanks, thats one where the translation always tricks me. The words for arc and arch translate to the same word in portuguese so I often get confused.
It's a difficult impulse to resist.*arc (forgive me)
That's fair and if it was merely a case of people backing with different assumptions about how it was distributed I think I (and many other people) would be a lot more ok with the situation. At that point i would have said they could have been more clear but not put them at fault.I'd argue that the only reasonable assumption is that a Kickstarter creator will do what they said in the Kickstarter they'd do. If we started holding creators to assumptions (reasonable or otherwise) rather than the things they actually promised, we end up in a very strange place.
Oh, I don't know. I give out my opinions in person all the time. It’s a general human thing. The ease of posting whatever combined with the ease of misunderstanding combined with large groups which are bound to have a few folks have “takes”.
Yep. Marital rouge and martial rogue are two very different things. It's a difficult impulse to resist.
Should see my eye twitch when I see "marital" for "martial" and "rouge" for "rogue".
Much different thread to discuss how marital classes are underpowered.Yep. Marital rouge and martial rogue are two very different things.![]()
Just try telling my wife that. I dare you!Much different thread to discuss how marital classes are underpowered.
Insert bad joke conflating Amazon, the Amazon rainforest, and the hometeam advantage.wow, Amazon is $13 in the US? It's A LOT cheaper here in BRazil (I think there's a first for everything)
There's even someone who doesn't like Bards.I mean... it's hardly just outside the D&D fandom. IIRC, currently on this very site there's a mess of contentiousness surrounding very low-level, low-magic play. Someone around here has even complained that a whole 10% of the game is "wasted" on levels 1 and 2, and that campaigns without magic shops are somehow anathema to enjoyable gaming.
Inexplicable ire, indeed.
Yeah. There are some days that I don't want to read the boards because some of this. But, then, I feel like that with engaging with the general human populous most days.I mean... it's hardly just outside the D&D fandom.
