Any history or personality or anything not stat related to share? Sometimes it makes choicing feats and skill points easier if one has a solid character concept to aim towards.

Jar'lithyl was an outcast from menzoberranzan as his family was destroyed by another house who wished to alleviate their position in the dark city's hierarchy.
at the time he was training in the fighters school at the academy, knowing that he must be killed by the aggressor house before he claimed his rights to accusation, he fled to the underdark.
he knew enough to think it foolish to try and survive there and eventually found a tunnel onto the surface.upon reaching the surface and living there he realised that everything he was taught in menzoberranzan was a lie, he had felt at the time that he was doing wrong, bu now he knew.
He tried to live in peace in remote wilderness in the western heartlands after a few close brushes with humans, in which he learnt of their general attitude to the dark elves.. one day, he came across a blind old man wandering around as though lost, when jar'lithyl spoke surface elven to him, he reacted well, saying he had lost his way and needed to get to a friend near berdusk, using the blind mans map and common sense he found the rangers hut on the outskirts of berdusk.
the elven ranger welcomed the blind man warmly and then turned to extend a hand to his helper, until he noticed the obsidian hue of the mans hand, he attacked jar'lithyl but was not strong enough and was disarmed.
the blind man then came to jar'lithyls aid and told the elf the story. satisfied that he wasnt a normal drow, he allowed the drow to stay with him under the guidance of the harpers, so that he wouldnt get into any trouble. soon, he learned that he and the drow were alike in almost everything but their skin and religion, jar'lithyl following elistraee and the moon elf, mielikki.
He decided after many months that this courageous young drow could do a service for good in the realms and sponsored him to the high harpers in berdusk, he was accepted into their ranks and given a magical hat to help disguise his heriatge when needed.
the next week he left the rangers hut thanking him for everything and pledging that he would adventure and do the will of the harpers for as long as he was able.

a bit cheesy and a bit long, but i was never the best at coming up with backgrounds.

Here's something I missed, you should only be getting one feat at 4th level. Then at 5th you'll get none, but at 6th you'll get two and be able to take both of those feats then.

Use dual scimitars instead of shortswords, and multiclass to ranger.

he'll be at an additional -2 if he uses scimitars, and multiing into ranger doesn't help since he already choose 2wf and ambidexterity.

I got it. I was actually trying to help the guy.

thank you crothian.

deedlit, that should be classed as trolling, taking the **** out of me trying to play a good drow, incidentally not much like drizzt........why did you even reply, old joke which wasnt funny the first time it was told.

Because you dual-wield, are outcast from the same city, attended the same school, and find drow beliefs wrong instinctively. Why doesn't someone play a good drow born on the surface who worships Eilistaree, or one who stays in the underdark, and doesn't forsake his house. There are so many more options for good drow then males who attended Melee-magatheree, and ran away from Menzoberran. What about a good drow wizard or rogue? Do you have any idea what the odds are of anyone succeding is. Drizzt was one of the best fighters to ever attend Melee-Magatheree, and he barely escaped the underdark with his life. You are 5 levels lower then Drizzt was at that time, and do not have instincts helping you tell which path leads to the surface, or a good wilderness lore.
