Okay, it looks like everyone has gone in this round except Rashelle. I can't imagine Jemal wants her to delay for another round, so we'll try to wait.

IC and OOC

Everyone, let's keep IC and OOC speech clearly separate. Please. In my local gaming group we often mix the two, but that's because we slip in and out of character a lot. On the boards here it's much easier to separate IC and OOC, and I think we should take advantage of that.

If you want to have OOC table talk, use this thread. As long as it doesn't bog combat down and turn it into untimed chess matches, I won't object. Something like, "If PC1 moves to X, my PC can go to Y and use power Q to accomplish such-and-such" is certainly fine. Just don't be upset if other players don't take your advice. No one can win or lose this game**. That's important, so I'll say it again. No one can win or lose this game. If another PC takes actions that interfere with what you want your PC to do, it's only "bad" IC. OOC, we're all just roleplaying.

** I'm purposefully ignoring griefing here. I'm assuming no one in the game will do it.

:)

No worries from me, pnuematik. That is exactly why Hollister left the pub. He couldn't get to the remaining enemies, so there wasn't really anything for him to do. Plus, the unexplored is exciting...and look, it led to new enemies! :D

I don't know how necessary the meat shield is. I don't think I ever got above a 13 on any attack roll in the previous round. I'm about to process the actions of everyone who's declared them so far (everyone but Liiros and Rashelle, who are currently glaring at each other), and I wouldn't be surprised if Hollister kills most of them with his Fiery Burst.

I mean no offense. I just "talk" online the same way I would around my gaming friends, but as has been noted in my Profile for quite some time, my speech may seem abrasive at times but I absolutely do not mean it to be; it's just that online there's no way to recognize tone of voice and the intended meaning by way of that.

I will refrain from any further tactical advice, attempts at OOC coordination, or other portrayals of Liiros' elvish brand of Charisma in the future.

I don't think this is a good idea. I think that Liiros had advice and as a tactician and general leader that's definitely a good fit.

I actually thought that it was interesting to see that a group of strangers don't automatically work together like a well-oiled machine. Maybe as the group works together more we can develop (In character) a more effective battle mechanic to account for situations like this :)

Agreed. You'll notice that Hollister thought anyone staying to fight in the burning building was a fool.

This is one of the things that I like about PBP. Everyone doesn't necessarily mesh well together, and I think it leads to better roleplaying.
