[sblock=OOC]Are you using Deft Strike or Piercing Strike? Deft Strike will allow you to make the move and attack with the same standard action, and still move again afterwords if you want. Piercing strike lets you target Reflex instead of AC, which it probably a lower defense, but you'll have to use a move action to get in range.[/sblock]

[sblock]Light blade or crossbow but I would expect that my great axe is not very light :) All great axe attacks are just normal melee standard types. I know I ought to just dump this axe and get out a dagger like a good rogue should but I'm a dwarf and I think its still in his interest to use it until he has more advantage with them. When I gain a level ill chat about a feat in PH2 which I don't have but I'm told evens things up a bit for attacks with a rogue. My only real advantage at this point for using a shiruken or crossbow is when I have combat advantage which at mo is not so often. If I could only land it then d12 would beat it esp if I get a crit. Rogues don't seem to make great fighters which is ok but I hope people don't expect me to wade in cos I lose. I'm prob going to head down the path of getting a big n beefy crossbow. Shame in 4e there is no heavy crossbow any more.[/sblock]

Druthruss moves in closer to the shaman with a hefty swing of his axe. Andri flees during the exchange, and the dwarf takes another stab of the orcs spear.

Vatan and Aridha continue to work on the battle-scared orc, but it simply refuses to fall. The orc becomes enraged as it sees Pier emerge from the cover of the building, and it blindly charges the wizard. Thankfully, Pier is able to sidestep the rushing attack.

"Ye yellow bloodded coward!!! I not be done wit ye yet!!!" is Vatan's bellow at the retreating beast's back. As he does so, he drops his dagger and reaches for one of the healing potions he is carrying. "Milady, he still breaths, barely, but this should help him if ye be givin' it ta him in time. I be needin' ta finish yon beastie." He then places it on O'Beth's chest before chasing down the large orc, swinging his sword at the coward's back when he does.

Pier momentarily rethinks his decision to distract the orc, but he keeps his head and manages to fend off the monster. He keeps it occupied while Vatan approaches from the rear, but a sudden bolt of lightning lays the orc out on the ground in front of him, a bi charred around the edges. He heaves a big breath of relief, then moves forward to see what he can do to help Druthruss.

Satisfied at the carnage around her, Aridha turns her attention to the distant foe...and realizes with dismay that the massive orc is attacking Piers! The frail wizard has no chance against an opponent like that!

She summons another lightning bolt from the skies and pours it down atop the orc's head, hoping to at least distract it!

(Storm Spike on T1! 23 to hit for 10 damage! Almost a crit... :( )

(and another 4 if he doesn't move at least 2 squares before the end of his next turn.)

If Pier delays, that puts Aridha first in initiative. Her attack will take out the Terrorblade, finally, leaving Pier and Vatan open for alternative actions.

I do ask that you keep the same roles, but you may modify your actions if you desire.
