how does one pronounce 'bullette'?

There are, I think, three ways:
1. pretend that you speak French, and just ree ze word.
2. boo-LAY, as in "boo! I scared you! Now lay down!"
3. Bullet, like the projectile from a firearm. This pronunciation is particularly good for inciting a battlerager-like frenzy in veteran gamers.

Words I've learned that haven't been mentioned (besides the plethora of polearm names, which I won't get into here):

dweomer
abjuration
garrotte
lucubration
legerdemain
prestidigitation
cantrip

I'd heard the word "mace" used before but not in the D&D context, and before I started gaming "flail" was randomly jutting your limbs about.

All the colors in the back of the 1E DMG. I mean, really, how else would a 12 year old boy learn about 'chartreuse'.

Of course, it was uncomfortable when I asked my mom what 'fecund' meant.

Otherwise, many of mine have been listed.
