You can print to PDF?Just received an email from the DnD Beyond team about a "game changing" update for D&D Beyond. Announcement at 9am PT tomorrow. Any ideas?
Virtual Tabletop? I hear they've been working on one.
I didn't know D&D Beyond didn't support 3rd party content, but I guess that makes sense. Here I was thinking they would conquer the VTT market when they enter it, but they're actually at a bit of a disadvantage if they don't support 3rd party content, as Roll20 does.I am hoping that something like this or support for 3rd party content.
A license tweak could make Roll20 illegal after they launched.I didn't know D&D Beyond didn't support 3rd party content, but I guess that makes sense. Given how much work I hear it was to get the Artificer to work, I am not sure we'll hear about full support for 3rd party material, which could use... just about anything for mechanics or class features.
Roll20 has a license with WotC. I don't think WotC is foolish enough to end that license, considering how many people it would screw over. But unless I'm missing something, I don't think making Roll20 "illegal" is within WotC's power. At best, they can refuse to renew Roll20's license when it next expires, which would prevent Roll20 from selling any more of WotC's books/adventures.A license tweak could make Roll20 illegal after they launched.
