Anything as long it strike my fancy-but primeraly monster books(6), BESM(2) and l5r (OA)(4) books. Not even a shelf worth, but that is what I like (and can afford). About my friends: we ussualy pool our loot to get some secondary books, which can be used by both the DM and the players(class books for example)

The scale has definitely tilted towards non-WotC D20 products this year for me. I see nothing left on the WotC rack at my FLGS that I need at the moment. Finally filled up on the necessary supplements through a couple of sales, so all that's left is watching the new releases. Don't see a thing that addresses any of my needs. But I see a ton on the indie racks.

While I will buy products from WotC and from third parties, I lean heavily towards WotC. I used to buy "everything." What I've found is that "everything" is often incompatible and contradictory. While quality is hit & miss at WotC, at least there is mostly a sense of continuity.

If I had hours & hours to construct a campaign setting from all the products that interest me, I might consider buying more 3rd party products than I do. However, no longer do so.

Right now, I mostly buy D&D products (focusing on Eberron compatibility, since that's what I'm playing and running right now) and 3rd party products that are easily portable. When I'm ready to run another campaign setting outside my personal world, I'll likely focus on the Arcana Unearthed line, since I really like the ideas in it (and own the 3.0 version).

Hmm...I think "everything" just means you buy both WoTC and third-party stuff. I mean I said I buy everything, but I certainly didn't mean everything :)

Oh, I understood. Although, when 3E first came out, I was buying everything.

However, right now, I buy so few non-WotC products, it's very close to not buying anything else. Indeed, I think the only non-WotC product I've purchased in the last few months has been the Battle Box (after a couple of months of trying to get a hold of a copy).

Oh, as for my friends, for the most part, they don't buy anything (although, with a new group I've started, that's beginning to change).

Oh, okay, cool. Just making sure :)

I buy a lot of books, most official D&D, but not all by WoTC. I run one Kalamar campaign and play in another. I also play in a Forgotten Realms Campaign. So I have the core books, a number of FR books most of the Kalamar printed material. All the players have PHB most have MM and DMG. The ones that don't have the 3.5 versions have the other guys old 3.0 versions. A number have picked up the core FR and Kalamar books. I have bought a number of D20 products the Book of the Righteous being the best. I was not overly enamoured with Arcana Unearthed and I recently bought my first few PDF's of third party products.
