D&D for Breakfast

In the every-other-saturday game I play in, we aim to get started around 10:30AM. What that means is, people start filtering about 11:00AM, and we play board or card games until everyone is present around 1:30PM. The we game until about 6PM, then either call it a day, or run into early the next morning, typically 2 or 3AM.

On the other hand, my other game meets every other monday. We start about 8:15PM, run to about 11:45PM, then call it quits.

So, yeah, morning, noon, night, you name it baby.

Post your city and state or country. Perhaps you can find some morning gamers around you here.

Hmm... good idea, location is now the first detail I've included in my profile, and maybe I'll head over to the Players Seeking Players board a little later.

Now I need to choose an avatar- I lurk far more than I post, and haven't gotten around to these things until now.

I'd like to do this, but my days off don't correspond to those of my players typically, so they're all at work.

Playing late late late works for me, though. :) As someone else said, breakfast, lunch and dinner, baby.

I've got my current group playing on Saturdays from about 11:00 AM until 5 or 6 PM. We started with Friday nights, but found that Saturdays work best. Of course, we are all 29 + in age.

In general, I like to start as early as possible and game as late as possible, to get the most gaming in on any given day.

I'd like to see the ones that happen to land on weekends start earlier if possible, but that's just me. That "massive weekend of gaming" was great.

I'd prefer to play in the afternoon, say 2pm-8pm. Mornings wouldn't be bad either. Right now we play 6pm-10pm. Any later than that, and I'm pretty much toast. There have been a few times in the past where I have been known to fall asleep at the table for 5-10 minutes at a time when we played really late.

The group I GM on Saturday is from 12:00 PM till about 5:00 PM. We were playing earlier, but one of the guys doesn't get off work on Friday till like 5:00 AM Saturday morning so we moved it back an hour.

My Tuesday group though... damn night owls! When I first joined, they started at about 6:30 PM and went until about... well, I don't know, I always had to leave at about 10:30 PM. Now that some of the others are in training, etc... we generally all leave at about 10:30 PM.

My favorite gaming time is late morning through mid-afternoon on a Sunday. But too early in the morning wouldn't work for me -- I need some time to wake up, get things ready, get my mind going, clean house, take a shower and feel like a human being again. :)

Amateurs!

I also like morning gaming because I can often fit in another campaign in the evening on the same day. I play in a bunch of different campaigns and this is a side benefit of alternative scheduling. :D
