Rick Karr, Cultural Trends Reporter for National Public Radio (NPR), is doing a report tomorrow morning (Thursday, August 19th) on D&D that will be airing on NPR stations at the following times (all times EST):
5:50 a.m, 7:50 a.m., 9:50 am, 11:50 a.m.
The NYC station (WNYC 820 AM) sometimes pre-empts these segments, alas! An expanded segment will appear at www.npr.org tomorrow afternoon. I believe there will be some photos of us as well at the site--a bunch of guys who belong on radio! <G>
As part of the report, NPR recorded one of our group's sessions and conducted interviews with players and my non-player wife as well. It was a fun night and we played 1st-level characters in Kenzer's Coin Trilogy--albeit set on the Sword Coast of Faerun.
See ya on the airwaves!
