[D&D3.5] Paths of Legend: The Azgundi Tournaments (OOC)

Hey, sorry for the delay. Been kinda busy all week, mostly with helping my mom since her right arm is mostly useless for awhile. And I was just busy the rest of the time on Sunday and Monday with running my weekly D&D sessions.

Last post updated in the IC thread with Alaric's brief description of the Silvergard situation. He's not sure how much he can safely tell Lady Dawn, let alone Shayuri, since he hardly knows them.

I want to recreate the success we've had here on other forums, specifically the Play by Post Haven over on the WotC forums.

Thus far, nearly all of the PbPs I've tried to run on other sites have managed to crash and burn, mainly due to my own time constraints at various points, and yet Tragedy at Silvergard and this game, its sequel, have continued for 18 months.

So, what is our formula for success?

Formula: dedicated GM and good players. you quickly get a feeling whether a player is committed or not if you get him to play a solo first. That's my technique. If he plays well alone, then it's a good bet. otherwise you simply drop him. My campaign is at about 13500 posts, running over 3 years. Still has some of the players who started - even those who were not friends. Had 3 groups but now down to one cause of workload, family..

Update (take 2) is up. :D

I'm crazy busy all of a sudden this month. I shouldn't fall behind on this but if I do, someone please give me a nudge.

I have a month to crank out what amounts to a full campaign setting project for probable publication in April. Wish me luck.

In other news...

Those of you were playing in my ill-fated attempt at Paths of Legend 4E, I'm rebooting that campaign here. For the new folks, feel free to have a gander and submit a character if you're interested. The 4E version of the setting is set 1,000 years after this game.
