D1: Ashin's Commission (El Jefe judging)

Michael spurs his horse towards what he desperately hopes is Ironwolf and not an ogre mercenary in Fallon's employ...but his nerve is stretched wire-taut.
He's lost his count some time ago, but that's probably all for the best.
(OOC: After one more round, Michael bails. And if they all get captured, his last request will be to have Zaeryl hanged first.)

Turn 13 - Hulgyr up[sblock=Everyone but Ironwolf: ]Michael rides to the edge of the party's vision, where he encounters something that is obscured from everyone else's vision by the trees.[sblock=Michael: ]Michael saw Ironwolf, still oversized and carrying Private Kneeler over his shoulder.

OoC: Took Michael a double move action to get there, so no more this turn.[/sblock][/sblock][sblock=Ironwolf: ]A mounted Michael appears from behind some trees, leading Ironwolf's horse by the reins.

OoC: If I understand your declarations for Ironwolf in your last post, Ironwolf drapes Private Kneeler over the horse, dispelled his Expand ability, and climbed aboard his own horse. That should be 2 move actions for this turn, so you're done. At least Ironwolf is now mounted![/sblock]Hulgyr 8

*Zaeryl takes off towards safety. Since it only takes a single move to mount, he has actually already moved 60 feet last round, and he'll do another 120 this round.*

Hulgyr won't leave untill he is sure everybody is on his horse ad on his way. He stays with Michael while he is delivering Ironwolf's horse.

Turn 13 - Eternity up[Sblock=Michael, Hulgyr, Eternity, Almayce: ]Slight retcon here...Zaeryl rode off at the end of Turn 12, in the direction of Kinthriver. Otherwise, everything is the same as described in my last post...the 4 of you are in a little clump in the woods. Michael has Ironwolf's horse, Hulgyr has Private Squatter draped over his horse behind him, and all of you are mounted. Michael and Hulgyr ride off toward Duvik and the crashing noise just a few tens of feet away...[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr: ]Both Michael and Hulgyr saw Giant Ironwolf, carrying Private Kneeler over his shoulder, lumbering toward them through the forest. As Michael led his horse to him, Ironwood draped the unconscious soldier over the animal, shrank to normal size, and mounted up.[/sblock]OoC: Does Eternity ride with Zaeryl, Almayce, or Michael and Hulgyr?

Eternity 8
Almayce 1[/sblock][sblock=Ironwood: ]Michael and Hulgyr ride up from the forest ahead of you. Michael is leading Ironwood's horse, and Hulgyr has a soldier draped over his own mount. Ironwood sets the unconscious Private Kneeler over his own mount, shrinks back to normal size, and mounts.[/sblock][sblock=Zaeryl: ]Per your instructions, you rode toward Kinthriver last turn, and have left your companions behind. This turn...single move? Double move? Delay and move when the others catch you?[/sblock]Eternity 8

Turn 13 - Almayce up[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr, Eternity, Almayce: ]Michael and Hulgyr rode further toward the sound in the brush, and Eternity rode off on it opposite direction, following Zaeryl.[sblock=Michael, Hulgyr: ]No change since last post. You meet up with Ironwolf, he gets on his horse, etc.[/sblock][sblock=Eternity: ]Eternity caught up with Zaeryl, who seemed to be slowing his mount to let the others catch up.[/sblock]Almayce 1[/sblock][sblock=Ironwolf: ]I just noticed that I called your character Ironwood in the last post. Sorry about that. Anyway, no change. Michael and Hulgyr ride up with your horse, you shrink, load Kneeler on it, get on, etc.[/sblock][sblock=Zaeryl: ]As Zaeryl slowed slightly and turned to see who was following, he saw Eternity riding to catch him. He didn't see any of the others.[/sblock]Almayce 1

OoC: Dramatic license (writing a description consistant with dividing continuous movement into discrete segments). Z moved 60 last turn and stopped (no more movement left). E moved 60 and caught Z. On his action, Z will leave everyone in the dust. I'll probably write something about how "he spurred his mount back to a full sprint..." And no, that doesn't mean your horse will do 240.

(OOC: Okey dokey. Just remember--dramatic license scares the players when it seems like you're slowing us down but also have a ticking clock on our heels--much the same as the Ironwolf picking pockets thing)
