Since somebody asked, I give you the following rules explaining how to convert standard d20 System creatures (and characters) to EZ20. . .
Step 1: Hit Dice to Levels
This is pretty straightforward. Every hit die that a d20 creature possesses becomes one level in EZ20. Thus, a standard d20 System orc would be a Level 1 creature in EZ20 and a standard d20 system cloud giant would be a Level 17 creature in EZ20.
Step 2: Choose Traits
Like all other EZ20 characters, alll creatures get the standard four traits at Level 1, another at Level 2, Level 4, Level 6, and so on. . . thus, the aforementionerd orc might have the traits:
Orc (Broad Trait)
Warrior (Broad Trait)
Swordplay (Narrow Trait)
Tracking (Narrow Trait)
and the cloud giant might have the traits:
Cloud Giant (Broad Trait)
Warrior (Broad Trait)
Perceptive (Broad Trait)
Awesome Blow (Narrow Trait)
Throwing Rocks (Narrow Trait)
Levitating (Narrow Trait)
Obscuring Mist (Narrow Trait)
Climbing (Narrow Trait)
Playing Lutes (Narrow Trait)
Intimidating Others (Narrow Trait)
Diplomatic Negotiation (Narrow Trait)
Dressing Snazzy (Narrow Trait)
As a general rule, important feats, skills, and special or spell-like abilities become narrow traits, while races and classes become broad traits. And that's it. . . your creature has been converted. There's not much need for further description, as traits give you a very good idea of what a character is/does/is capable of.
[Note #1: Creatures or characters with 20 or more hit dice are extremely deadly when converted to EZ20 as, unless the DM has ratcheted up the standard DC of 15, they'll hit in combat on any roll result other than a natural one. That said, this is as it should be.]
[Note #2: These rules assume that you want to keep the mechancal balance of d20 intact when using EZ20. If you don't care so much about balance as you do about cool, you can simply create your creatures from scratch using the character creation rules in EZ20.]
