Damage Reduction - Sage Response

Therefore, it can be extrapolated that the high level barbarian's unarmed attacks deal damage with the (barbarian) elemental modifier. :p

Ooh... I wanna summon a Barbarian Elemental...

But hang on...

That would make a barbarian a Humanoid with the [barbarian] subtype. As such, he would be immune to any barbarian attacks. And so... wouldn't that mean that the barbarian's attacks don't ignore a barbarian's DR? :)

Yes, that's correct. That's why barbarians are immune to each others unarmed attacks.

However, since the character's weapons don't carry over the sub-type of the wielder, weapons still apply damage normally. :D

Wow, and people thought Energy Substitution : Sonic was dangerous.

Nothing in the Monster Manual even has barbarian resistance, let alone complete immunity to barbarian damage...

Plus, casting a Barbarianball just sounds so cool :)

So the statment that a Elemental with DR 10/+1 will still not bypass a WereWolf's DR as it is not the type silver.

I'm not sure if you were supporting this statement or not, but it's wrong... see "Damage Reduction" in the DMG.

HEY!! Keep it clean.

What? :) I hadn't even mentione the Delayed Blast Barbarianball yet...

It's a shame Barbarian Barrier isn't an option.

There's Glyph of Warding : Barbarian Blast.

Barbarian Bolt, of course.

Barbarian Burst.

Barbarian of the Banshee.

And the [evil] spell, Blarbariasphemy.
