Damage Reduction & Sure Striking how does it work now?

Ok,

My group just got back to a higher level campaign from 3.0 that we have converted to 3.5. The conversion has gone fine, except we seem to have gotten stuck on what the Sure Striking weapon ability would now do against the defferent types of damage reduction.

Has Wizards put something out that is comprable?

How have people dealt with it in their games?

Thanks

Sure Striking was reprinted for 3.5 in (I think) the Underdark sourcebook.

It's a +1 equivalent property that allows the weapon to bypass any Alignment based DR.

The Metalline property in the same book is a +2 equivalent property that lets you change which metal the weapon is made from.

Actually, in the Player's Guide to Faerun, it was listed as a flat price modifier, not an effective bonus. It was somewhere around +2,000 gp, I believe.
