Dark Fairytale IC

OOC: I didn't rush into melee. It rushed me. just figuring out if I push the one tree back I can move without provoking an attack of opportunity. From my understanding pushing it 15 feet back will get me out of the ones melee range.

OOC: Both trees are pretty beat up. If that helps been slammed at work my self not to mention moving house some of my posts have been less detailed than I would like.

Kaleth is knocked to one knee by the tree. He wouldn't be able to take another strike like that. He looks to the one tree that just struck him and the other tree threatening the group and falls back. He won't help anyone if he was dead.

[sblock=Action]Using disengage and falling back full movement away from both enemies.[/sblock]

One of the trees is restrained as the sound of splintering wood can be heard from underneath the earthen hand as it bears down on the tree. The other tree swats the hand away with some effort, Kalveen's feint didn't seem to benefit Colember who's blade bounces effortlessly off the tree.

The unrestrained tree swings at Colember catching him full force in the jaw with its mighty limb. The second tree attempts in vain to break loose from the earthen hand. Kalveen falls back from the fray.
OOC: Sorry but that tree scored a crit Colember takes 23points of damage. Kaleth retreats to the edge of combat. One tree is restrained, both are looking worse for wear. Back to group A and back to work for me.

"This doesn't look good!"

"Move back! Back!" Leonan shouts to his companions as he focuses for another squeeze.

OOC:
I noticed that I didn't explicitly said it when I cast the spell. If the tree saves (STR DC 14) it still suffers half damage - so here is my damage from the start - may have an effect if the tree is nearly down (even with resistance to crushing damage) Since [MENTION=6798581]Azurewraith[/MENTION] didn't roll IC I don't know which tree saved against which attack, only that one failed the save in each round. Damage is always in the same order Tree #1 was closer to Leonan in the initial round, #2 further away)

7 / 0 (impaling damage = 3 / 0) - round of approach, ice knife
9 / 9 (cold damage 9 / 9 - round of approach, ice explosion
4 / 5 (crushing) - 1st round when Calember charged
4 / 7 (crushing) - 2nd
11 / 6 (crushing) - 3rd
Stone graps damage 1; damage 2: 2D6 = [6, 5] = 11
2D6 = [3, 3] = 6
(crushing) - current

OOC: Yep I got the half damage and figured that was how you would be applying it. I post from mobile which is why I tend not to roll IC tis a bit quicker. I can roll ic if its an issue

Kaleth pulls a small flask from his pouch. He pulls the cork and downs the red liquid.

[sblock=action]Drinking a healing potion [roll0]. Will then move back farther but keep the trees within 60 ft.[/sblock]

Both the trees shake off the earthen hands trying to restrain them how ever the continued assault proves to much for one of the trees as the magic giving it life leaves its body it falls to the ground with a tremendous thus leaving a crater in the ground and felling several trees around it.
Kaleth retreats in order to heal him self, keeping the trees at a measured distance.
Kalveen uses his magic's to heal Colember some.
The tree however lashes out at Colember again however the resulting shudder from his companion falling causes him to miss.
OOC: Colember is up.
