Dark Fairytale IC

Leonan grabs some forest floor dirt and leaves, chanting as he brings up hands holding the earth toward heavens. As he clenches his fists two earthen arms come up from under the trees and grab at them. One of them emerges with blue-green flames licking around it. The flames immediately detach and flow toward Leonan, circling once - Leonan flinches as they rush toward him - and disappearing into his body without any apparent effect.

"The arms will slow them down some, if you can attack from distance!"

[sblock=Actions]
Move: behind melee types, remaining at the same distance (20') behind them preventing trees from charging him
Action; Twinned earthen grasp
crush damage 1: 2D6 = [3, 1] = 4
crush damage 2: 2D6 = [3, 4] = 7
surge 1: 1D20+4-1 = [13]+4-1 = 16
surge 2: 1D20+4-1 = [1]+4-1 = 4
STR DC 14 or trees are restrained (one per arm) and take damage - I believe they grant advantage while held?

Failed surge: restore Tides of Chaos, surge check
Surge effect: 1D10000 = [3616] = 3616

OOC:
I have the following - is it relevant now that we finished first round? I mean, we're going in blocks, right, all PCs, then trees, then PCs etc...
Will you [MENTION=6798581]Azurewraith[/MENTION] adjust for the order of init or just resolve the posts as they come? It might be important in case of pushing / holding / healing etc...
River Song / Kalveen 20
Neurotic / Leonan 18
VLAD / Kaleth 14
CG / Colember 3

OOC: I hadn't thought of that I was sort of running it in groups those before the monsters, the monsters, then the left overs. I haven't really slept in 5days so ill get back to you when my brain works... and I'm not driving talk to text ain't great and I'm bout to hit the motor way

OOC: just a fyi one tree is restrained.
A restrained creature's speed becomes 0, and it can't
benefit from any bonus to its speed. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage and the creature's attack rolls have disadvantage. The creature has disadvantage on Dexterity
saving throws.

Kalveen attacks again,"Are we making a dent in these things? Does fire hurt them more?"

"I'm holding one! It will not move and cannot defend effectively!" calls out the sorcerer sweat beading his brow as he tries to capture the other one in his spell.
OOC: announcing my next action :)

Kaleth curses as his psychic assault slides off the tree things mind. The thing had a stronger mind or no mind at all but Kaleth decided to use a different approach. He raises his hand towards the unrestrained tree thing and unleashes a telekinetic blast.

[sblock=Action]Spending 3 psi to cast Push. Tree must make a DC 14 strength save or take [roll0] and be pushed 15 ft away from me. It takes half damage on a successful save and is not pushed.[/sblock]

OOC: Sorry for the disappearance Ran into some work issues over the past couple days which made posting difficult.

The tree flies backwards from Kaleths mental assault leaving considerable dent in the trees trunk... along with several other trees in the area. Kalveen attacks again dealing minimal damage.

The restrained tree shrugs off the stone fist encasing it. The second tree steps back into the fray returning the favour and swinging wildly at Kaleth. Catching him square in the chest with a solid blow. As Kaleth is struck Colember swings again at the tree dealing a decent blow.

OOC: I apologize for earlier Colember is dealing full damage, only Kalveens attacks are resisted. Kaleth takes 17 damage. Positions remain unchanged. Group A goes again.
