Leonan moves aside from the most direct route the trees are taking - taking hits is not his forte. What he is good at is blasting as it seems there will be no negotiation here.

He blows into his hands cupping them as if he's holding some water. He then throws the hands wide and white streak disappears toward the charging trees.

"Kalveen, why would she flee? She has us resolving bug problem for no real cost to her. We are probably just trespassing someones territory. Use their slowness and discourage them rather than flee blindly and run into another problem while this one still follows."

OOC: I love it two killer trees charging towards you and your debating.

OOC: I'm not, I shot at them, it is you who do nothing! :) I even thought about twinning the attack, but they are slow and we can probably survive without taking damage and without expending spell slots.

His little speech takes long enough that he is delayed in reacting to the trees.

Kaleth turns towards the now moving trees. He probes the tree with his mind trying to see if these are Fae creatures or just animated trees.

Or she is trying to expend our resources so we are weak when we must face her directly.
