Leonan's strikes the trees without his magically charged ice shard as he repostions behind a tree. The target tree (A) shrugs off the initial impact but as frost clings to both the trees their advance momentarily stops as their stride breaks. A doesn't appear to take any ill effects from Kaleth's attacks perhaps his exchange with the hag weakened his mental powers. Kalveen takes up position in front of Colember ready to strike the approaching trees.

The trees continue their relentless charge forward their pace seemingly quickens as they close the gap.

OOC: Each paragraph is an initiative block, blocks work before the monsters, monsters and after the monsters. Also the save was made against mind thrust don't worry it will effect them. The trees dashed towards you closing the gap by 40ft, they are now 20ft away and will be in range next turn. For those that don't know the MM back to front these are huge creatures. By my reckoning Colembers turn.

Colember strides forward, closing the gap with the trees. He strikes a blow, solidly hitting the trunk.

Colember easily closes the gap to the trees and lashes out with his great sword, the bark of the trees is much harder than expected and the sword hardly leaves a mark.

OOC: Colember is now in melee range with the trees, who are 20ft away from the rest of the group.Start of round 2

Kalveen looks at the approaching trees and prepares to defence his lord, with his weapon drawn he prepares to attack.

OOC: You might use your action for a charge maybe? Your ward just ran away

Kalveen seeing his Lord rush in dances to his side drawing his rapier as he did. He thrust the thin blade at the treelike creature, hoping to find a weak point in the bark like skin.
